Reintroduction strategy for the pool frog in England (ENRR642)

This report has been produced to guide the reintroduction of the northern clade pool frog Rana lessonae in England. Using recent guidance on conservation translocations it sets out the rationale for the reintroduction, and describes the proposed methods. Information on legislative and procedural considerations is also presented. It is hoped that bringing all this information together in one document will be value to those with an interest in the project. The document has been authored by members of the Pool Frog Species Action Plan Steering Group.
