A review of seepage invertebrates in England (ENRR452)

The purpose of this report was to provide a review of seepage systems in England, to describe the invertebrate assemblages they support, their importance in nature conservation terms, and recommendations on the way forward to ensure the continued conservation and enhancement of that interest. The aims of the project were: to describe the habitat and its variations; to review the invertebrate fauna associated with the various seepage types; to devise a method of showing the degree of fidelity of the species to the habitat; to recommend survey methods.
