Radio tracking study of greater horseshoe bats at Chudleigh Caves and Woods Site of Special Scientific Interest (ENRR496)

The activity patterns of greater horseshoe bats Rhinolophus ferrumequinum roosting at Chudleigh Caves and Woods Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) were investigated over periods of six and eight nights in June and August 2002 respectively. Recommendations are made for further survey and conservation work on commuting routes, foraging areas and roosts.
