In 1994 Habitats and Species Branches produced a guide to the databases they held as a useful source of information for Specialist and Local Teams in English Nature’s new structure and as a contribution to the development of a system to hold conservation information. The guide comprises summary tables describing the databases with a brief text that highlights their common characteristics. The tables were arranged so that, as far as possible, databases relevant to what would be the new Specialist Support Teams were grouped together.
