Targets for coastal habitat re-creation (ENS13)

In 1992 English Nature had committed itself to trying to halt and reverse the loss of coastal habitats and natural features resulting from coastal squeeze and from the disruption of sedimentary systems. As part of this strategy, the overall goal was set to maintain coastal habitats and features equivalent to their distribution and total area. This pre Natural England document is being published as part of our work to share our evidence and make it available online.
