This report describes and reviews the background and objectives of the Soils for Profit (S4P) Project, its relationship with other initiatives and how the project was delivered.
Soil for Profit project ran from 2009 to 2013 with the aim of helping farm businesses manage their soils, manures and nutrients more efficiently; improve farm profitability and benefit the environment. Environmental benefits included reducing agricultural pollution, conserving soils and increasing farm and landscape resilience to climate change.
