Stiperstones NNR - The Stiperstones NNR, Red Grouse: Review of current management and recommendations for future management and monitoring 1990 (RP1983)

The aim of this study was to maintain a management programme beneficial to the grouse population and the wider conservation objectives. In 1989 198 ha of moorland were actively managed and 67ha allowed to regenerate naturally. This report reviews major concerns, such as management practices, visitor pressure and grouse densities.
