Vertigo moulinsiana - surveys and studies commissioned in 1995-6 (ENRR217)

Vertigo moulinsiana is a small rare wetland snail that has been included in Annex 2 of the Habitats and Species Directive. This report brings together a series of surveys and studies of Special Areas of Conservation (SAC) sites perceived to be important for the species. Surveyed areas include Chilbotton Common; the River Itchen; the Kennet and Lambourn valleys, Berkshire; the River Avon and tributaries (Wiltshire and Hampshire); the River Bourne, Wiltshire; site in Hertfordshire and Essex; Europe.
