Natural England’s Advice to Defra on recommended Marine Conservation Zones (rMCZs) to be considered for consultation in 2015 is available to download.

The purpose of the evidence-based scientific advice is to enable Defra to make informed decisions about the designation of MCZs in Tranche 2. The main report contains Natural England’s evidence-based scientific advice to Defra on Tranche 2 inshore rMCZs. It is a technical document and written specifically for Defra.

The second report, Annex 9 (Site-specific Advice), is provided as a separate document to enable a wider group of readers to more easily access advice relating to specific sites considered in Tranche 2.
