Agricultural Land Classification of England and Wales 1985 (ALC009)

This map is based on the Provisional 1:63,360 scale map, now available as the regional 1:250,000 ALC maps on the Magic website or as downloadable pdfs on this catalogue. It was originally made available as a paper copy in 1985, but is now out of print. This 1:2,000,000 scale map is useful to give a full England and Wales display of the distribution of ALC grades, with accompanying notes, not available if attempting to produce maps from Magic.
