Developing new native woodland in the English uplands (ENRR230)

English Nature was committed to promoting the expansion of all woodlands types in the appropriate locations, in line with the Government’s target of doubling woodland cover in England by 2050. This study was a preliminary investigation of the possibilities and practicalities for the expansion of native woodland in the English uplands.
