Increasing the Resilience of the UK’s Special Protection Areas to Climate Change (NECR202)

This study sought to increase our understanding of how we can make Special Protection Areas more resilient to climate change. It looked at a number of case studies to identify how the management of these sites could support climate change resilience and discussed with site managers and other interested parties the practicalities of changing current management approaches to make sites more resilient where applicable. The case studies were:

  • The South Pennines
  • Minsmere-Walberswick
  • North Norfolk/Great Yarmouth
  • Somerset Levels and Moors
