Farmland Wildlife: past, present and future (IN143)

This publication provides a summary of how England’s farmland habitats originated, their important wildlife and how they can be conserved. The value of farmland habitats and their species is recognised in the Government’s UK Biodiversity Action Plan. The booklet is written in a non-technical style and was aimed at the general public, farmers, and others interested in finding out more about the wildlife of farmland and ways to encourage it.
