Capital and maintenance dredging: a pilot case study to review the potential benefits for nature conservation (ENRR007)

The aim of the project is to review the options for, and provide guidance on, the beneficial uses of dredged material for nature conservation. In addition, a case study is used to investigate the physical, chemical and biological nature of sediment in the south-eastern section of Holes Bay, Poole Harbour, Dorset, and assess its potential for beneficial uses for nature conservation.
