Long term ecological change in British woodland (1971-2001) (ENRR653)

This report describes the results of a resurvey of 103 woods that were first looked at in 1971. The woods are spread across Britain and from the results we have been able to identify some of the ways in which woods have responded to potential drivers of change. We suggest some likely consequences of future changes. The data is available for further analyses from the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology at Dataset Woodlands survey soil data 1971-2001 .
