The Monitor of Engagement with the Natural Environment collected data on adults (aged over 16) living in England and their experiences of time spent in green and natural places, environmental attitudes and behaviours.
This document provides a summary of results for: 'Visits_weekly’ – Respondent Dataset, quarter 1. On average, how many visits to the natural environment were taken per person per week during each month. Data was collected over the period March 2009 – February 2019. Where multiple year analysis has been conducted, data been pooled to boost sample size. Where weighted proportions are reported, weekly weights have been applied. Please note that the visit month relates to when the survey participant was interviewed rather than the date they took the visit.
