Tern verification surveys for marine sites 2015 (NECR212)

These surveys were commissioned to verify modelling work carried out by the JNCC. Traditional site boundaries are formed using site specific survey data whilst, due to the number of sites and for accessibility and feasibility reasons not all sites have been surveyed completely. Boundaries have been drawn using either a site specific model (where there is sufficient data) or a generic species model for all sites. The surveys have successfully been able to ground truth the models.
