Stiperstones hills archaeological survey was carried out in 2003-4. It comprised of a desk based research followed by a level 1 Rapid Field Survey; using GPS survey equipment for the accurate location features. The data collected was transferred to GIS shape files and a Microsoft excel spreadsheet for integration with Shropshire County Council Environment Record. Survey was funded by English Heritage, English Nature and Shropshire council.
