This survey of bankside vegetation and river course features was conducted in order to ascertain what potential existed for development of the river bed and banks to encourage the growth, feeding, holding and spawning of the Brown Trout Salmo trutta and the Salmon Salmo salar which normally appear to pass through the upper reaches. Recommendations were made as a result of the survey.
