As part of the Species Surviellance pilot project during 2012 at East Dartmoor NNR a survey was carried out with yarner wood SSSI and on Yarner Heath for the lichen Cladonia portentosa and other Cladonia spp. C portentosa was not located but a number of other Cladonia spp were found.
