This document sets out Natural England’s Plans for developing AI capabilities, aligning with the Natural England Strategic Policy Statement.
It outlines key steps to increasing use of AI responsibly: laying the foundations, improving operational efficiency, strengthening evidence and decision‑making, enhancing public engagement, organisational productivity and knowledge management, developing workforce capability and governance.
The plan also describes priority activities which will be undertaken in Natural England.
