This full colour leaflet provides an overview of the history of the red kite in Britain, together with a summary of what we have learnt about this species since its welcome return to the English countryside. It is hoped that the booklet will foster an increased understanding of the red kite at a time when, as a result of the ongoing reintroduction programme, more and more people have the opportunity to watch one of our most spectacular birds in their local countryside.
