The report describes an economic valuation of different land use and management scenarios for the Keighley Moor and Watersheddles catchment. The scenarios were developed in consultation with a group of partners with interest or influence in land management of the catchment, as part of the Delivering Natures Services Programme – the upland ecosystem service pilots. The Keighley catchment is an important water supply, landscape and biodiversity resource in one of the three upland pilot areas – the South Pennines National Character Area.
The report describes an initial valuation for the ecosystem services provided under different land use and management interventions and compares these with the potential costs.
